Settling In

I have finally made the move to San Francisco with one my best friends and it's only been a week but I am absolutely LOVING it. Having grown up in the East Bay, San Francisco stole my heart from an early age and while I love Chicago and NYC {thought about moving to those amazing cities} I just couldn't leave. Something was telling me to stay, so I did.

I am finally starting to feel like I have my routine down. I am mastering the bus and have found a great CrossFit community at Lalanne Fitness. I am so excited about this chapter in my life and cannot wait to see what this city has to offer because I know I am going to {and already have!} fall in love with this city more and more everyday.

I am so unbelievably blessed. :)

I am taking every chance I get to explore and learn about the city by the bay.
Go out and do one thing that scares you everyday.

Alexander Wang

I always go weak in the knees when it comes to anything Alexander Wang.  His twist on simplicity is always to die for. His not so basic, basics pair well with anything for any occasion and you will look and feel utterly amazing.

Since Instagram is as close as I'll get to fashion week this year, I started drooling all over my phone when images from the Alexander Wang SS14 collection popped up. I mean, I just can't even handle.

{PARENTAL ADVISORY}

These are a few of my favorite looks, but I am coveting the whole collection. If only.

Jules Be Dreamin'

I was in New York City this past week, running around doing interviews and apartment hunting and I loved every minute of it...except for the part where my luggage went missing for the first day {but it did give me a good reason to shop ;)}. After some retail therapy, I decided I would treat myself to a blow out. I knew the place I had to go...DreamDry {Rachel Zoe's new business venture}. I go bananas for anything Rachel Zoe so I knew I wouldn't be disappointed {and I wasn't}. They make everything so easy, from booking online to a style menu with amazing choices. I went with the Sophia {the perfect amount of sass and confidence}. Once I move to the big city I know this will be one of my go-tos for a little pampering. Here are a few photos from my first {of many} experiences...

{the infamous chevron floor}

{Look out for their second location opening soon on 57th street}

{Priscilla was my stylist and she was AMAZING}

I wish I had a picture of the finished result, but I was running a little late for an interview and by the time I could snap a photo it just wouldn't do it justice. Guess I'll have to go again {hehe}...

Wearing: My Home t-shirt. Current/Elliott boyfriend jeans.

Sweet Sweatshirt

I am obsessed with the latest fashion trend of dressing up your sweatshirt...it's my dream come true. I am loving all the prints and patterns. I just can't get enough. Which one would you rock??

{Blair of Atlantic-Pacific in Carven}

{Arielle of SomethingNavy in Lovers and Friends}

{Alicia of Cheetah is the New Black in Rodarte}

Paired with my go-to boyfriend jeans and Isabel Marant sneakers, makes for the perfect Saturday outfit come fall.

Gone Country

In the summer, nothing is better than country concerts.  Getting your best friends together, sippin' on some Coronas with lime, and rockin' out to your favorite country tunes...I mean nothing beats it.  Having been to so many over the years, and attending a few this summer {Luke Bryan will you marry me??} I think I have mastered the perfect country to chic ratio. A little bit of country with a little bit of sass is the perfect mixture.  If you take a look at my Instagram photos to the left {<--} you'll see a few snapshots. Below you will find what I think to be essentials for any country concert!

gone country

1. A Panama hat. Gives you shade even if there's no trees in site. 2. Boots. While cowboy boots are an obvious choice for a country concert, these Frye boots will chic up your outfit a bit. 3. This Pamela Love pendant. Need I say more? 4. Chambray, nothing says country more than a denim button down. This one from J. Crew gives you the perfect amount of sass.

And of course, top it all of with a Corona. Because a Corona and lime is always a good idea.

Love Affair

In my previous post, I told you about my love affair with Carrie Bradshaw, but more specifically Patricia Field.  As I am currently making moves to relocate to New York City I have been watching rerun after rerun of Sex and the City {unrealistic I know, but I can't help it} and I fell in love all over again...with the wardrobe {and of course NYC}.

This is one of my favorite outfits because anybody can rock this. So simple, so chic and so easy. Get the look!

Friday Favorites

Shopbop's Style Director, Eleanor Strauss, just published her must haves for fall.  I am obsessed with all of her favorites, but I thought I would share some of her picks that I might have to pick up myself.
