I Spy Fall...

As I mentioned in my earlier post, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started {don't worry, if you haven't shopped yet there are still a few days left!}. This is such a great sale because Nordstrom puts most of their fall merchandise on sale for two weeks and then it goes back up to full price, what is better than getting fall merchandise on sale during summer?? The answer...nothing.

This sale always puts me in the mood for fall accessories, boots, and chunky knits. While I am most definitely a summer girl, my fall wardrobe is by far my favorite.  I die for rich colors and comfy sweaters.  Since I am in a fall mood {currently sipping on some hot coco...I know its still summer, but I just had to} I thought I would share some of my inspiration for fall...

{nothing is more chic than winter whites, that yes, you can rock in the fall}

{that beanie, those glasses, that plaid, are everything}

{love the laid back look of the jacket and beanie with a pop of glam with the heels}

{fall is the perfect time for fur}

I may be getting ahead of myself a little with this post with it still being July and all, but now is the time to start preparing, right!?

What are your favorite fall accessories??

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

It's the {third, behind my birthday and Christmas} most wonderful time of the year. It's time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Having worked for this amazing company in the past, I am a die hard for this annual sale.  Not only do I know how much time and effort each and every employee puts into making this event so amazing, you can't beat these deals! New fall merchandise on sale for two weeks?? What is better.  If you have a Nordstrom card go to the website or go see your favorite salesperson and get the deals of the year! If you don't have a Nordstrom card...well you should probably get one {;)}. You will be so sad if you miss out.

Apartment Hunting???

CHICAGO. This city definitely has a special place in my heart.  Not only is it the home of my two best friends {Kate and Maddy :)} but there is just so much to love about this city.  From Lincoln Park Zoo {the giraffes are my favorite} to Navy Pier {Shoreline cruise at sunset is too romantic} to Michigan Ave {obviously my go to place to shop when in town}, there are too many fun activities that I just can't get enough of.

I love San Francisco, don't get me wrong, but Chicago has a different vibe. I'm always drawn to the amazing architecture and beautiful landscape, it's a wonder why I haven't moved there yet {I love it so much!}. After every visit to Chicago my girls always have great arguments as to why I NEED to move there. This past visit I scoped out a few apartments that I absolutely adored {I can just see Kate and Maddy rolling their eyes at me}, but this time I might actually have to make that leap of faith. Maybe it's time for me to grow some balls and do it?? Would you??

Butttt, enough about that, let's talk about the amazing rooftop party my girls threw in honor of the U.S. of A. Maddy and Kate truly know how to throw a party.  BBQin' in the sun followed by fireworks on the rooftop. Nothing could bring us down. Kate and Maddy always have the best desserts too {why my ass always seems a little larger than when I arrive}.
 They are definitely the hostesses' with the mostesses' {hehe}.

Here are some photos from our Fourth of July bash!

{the yummiest pretzel, peanut butter, chocolate bites}

{wine and cookies...don't mind if I do}

{what's more American than a red solo cup??}

{festive and CUTE coasters}

{suzy homemaker aka Kate :)}

{my girls. miss them too much already.}

I am definitely having withdrawals already. Currently planning my next visit, er, I mean move {hehe}.
